nursing staff were wandering the halls at all hours of the night, shrieking & dragging lead pipes up and down the eroded tile floors. wasn't such a terrible trip though, i found a free shotgun in one of the exam rooms & got to take part in a radio quiz show. 3/5 at worst, not bad

I received treatment years ago for depression and substance abuse. The treatment I received was of the best quality. Today I am free of Depression and am on mo medication for it. I am also living a clean and sober life. The quality of life I have today would not have been possible without the efforts of the team that worked with me at Brookhaven and I am eternally grateful for them being their in my time of need.

All of nurses and staff members took great care of me served me 3 meals a day and all the coffee you can drink and 8 smoke breaks a day were great had stayed there twice loved everyone there I felt welcomed there with open arms and I would recommend you do go to Brookhaven Hospital for treatment and care! I will always come back when I need help!

My family member has been helped twice. All the negative reviews are from people who have no clue how difficult it is to treat people with psychiatric, dependence, or behavioral problems. Must be looking for a country club setting. Problem is those don't take most insurance and definitely no Medicare. Brookhaven is doing good work and will be sorely missed if it goes to the wayside due to regulation and greedy insurance companies. Talk to your congressman about the sad state of mental health.

All the negative reviews are not correct. I personally have never seen anything negative while I was there. And I was there twice because it helped to clear my head. When I was there the staff had utmost care and respect for us. The food was very good. I heard no complaints from patients while being inpatient. I would recommend this place to my friends and family anytime.

I worked there years ago and I was very happy. Everyone really cared about the patents although at time the patents did have a difficult time fitting in. Trying to change your lifestyle and begin a new start is the goal of everyone at the private locked facility. Food and service was excellent and we were fully staffed at all times. I worked on call. No complaints.

Best Psychiatric hospital I have ever been to!!!!!

Staff treat you with the greatest of respect. Therapist and doctors know what they're doing. The best eating disorder clinic in the area.

I've had a family member there on more than one occasion. They treat him with respect and dignity and give him the medical care he needs during the worst of times. Thumbs UP for Brookhaven and STAFF
